Who we are

Queens Community House is a multi-service settlement house that serves nearly 25,000 children, youth, adults and older adults at 22 different sites in 11 neighborhoods throughout Queens.  QCH brings together people diverse in race, ethnicity, age, faith practice, sexual orientation, and economic status for learning, socialization, skill-building, counseling, recreation, and to promote community building.

We have a vision of improving individuals’ lives in the short-term and advancing the long-term welfare of families and the entire community. QCH is widely recognized as having expertise across a range of service areas. Our programs are in some of New York City's most racially and ethnically diverse communities with high concentrations of low-income, working poor and new immigrant or first generation Americans, speaking more than 100 different languages.
